Flagship Bakery in Greenwich Village is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time dishwashers/porters. Empire Cake has recently opened our brand new kitchen! We are a small independently owned business and we are looking for good people to join our team. You must be reliable and hardworking. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position and lift up to 50 pounds.

We are looking for multiple candidates, open to AM, PM, or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities:

- Dishwashing

- Sweeping and mopping

- Taking out the trash

- Deep cleaning areas of the bakery including equipment

- Being pro-active and able to complete work without supervision

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards preferred

- Storage of incoming food, paper, and linen deliveries, ensuring all food items are rotated (FIFO) properly
