** Le Bernardin is passionate about providing exceptional wine experiences. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Wine Department Coordinator to support our team in managing inventory, updating our wine lists, and assisting with private event wine inquiries.
*Responsibilities:*
*Inventory & Wine List Management:*
Oversee BinWise operations, including creating purchase orders and booking invoices
Programming new wines in the POS system
Maintain the wine list by adding new selections and removing 86’d wines
Print and update wine lists as needed
*Private Events Support:*
Respond to inquiries from the Private Events department regarding wine selections
Provide expert wine recommendations based on inventory and client preferences
Stay up to date with BinWise and cellar inventory to make informed suggestions
Adapt quickly to last-minute changes and special requests
*Qualifications:*
Experience with BinWise and wine inventory management preferred
Strong understanding of wine varieties, regions, and pairings
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changes promptly
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Previous experience in the hospitality or wine industry is a plus!
