The Dinex Group, *Chef Daniel Boulud* ’s internationally acclaimed restaurant group, is proud to announce the upcoming opening of *Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud.* The new luxury, high-end fine-dining cafe will be located within *Tiffany and Co.* in midtown Manhattan.
The *Receiver* will primarily be focused on organizing, receiving and checking all inventory from outside purveyors, and supervisoring the receiving team.
*The Receiver is expected to :*
* Assist with ordering and receiving of goods, familiarity with purchase orders required
* Check items requested/ received from for accuracy
* Complete daily checklists - FIFO, Labelled accurately
* Maintain and ensure that storage and walkins are clean and organized
* Responsiblie to receive goods in response to product requirements and ensure proper storage
* Collaborate daily with Chefs to coordinate utilization of products on hand
* Receive all food order with vendors, check, and store
*Competencies & Qualifications:*
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work with internal staff within our restaurants as well as external purveyors
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details
* Food safety knowledge preferred - Food Handler's Certificate A+
*Positions require:*
* Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
