*Job Description:*
As an IT Assistant Support, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting the organization's IT systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This includes providing technical support, managing hardware/software installations, and ensuring network security for all staff and guests.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide technical support to employees and guests regarding IT-related issues (hardware, software, network).
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
* Assist in the installation and configuration of hardware and software systems.
* Maintain and update systems, including servers, workstations, and guest-facing devices.
* Ensure that the IT infrastructure is running smoothly for hotel operations, including POS systems, reservation software, and Wi-Fi networks.
* Perform routine backups and system checks to ensure data integrity and security.
* Collaborate with the IT supervisor to implement improvements and upgrades.
* Support and assist with software updates and patches.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.
*Requirements* :
* Proven experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
* Familiarity with network administration and security protocols.
* Good understanding of IT systems used in the hospitality industry (e.g., reservation, POS, and management systems).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical individuals.
* A degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
