Located in the Theatre District, Hunt & Fish Club is an upscale Steakhouse. We are looking for a talented, hard-working, reliable and driven pastry cook to join our team!
*A rare oppurtunity to work with and learn under an experienced Pastry Chef, Chocolatier, Baker and Teacher.*
Pastry Cook applicants should have strong production and plating skills, be able to close, be detail oriented, able to maintain their stations MEP and be able to work in a fast paced manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Proper scaling of ingredients
* Maintain a clean, neat and organized work station
* Work well as part of a team
* Properly read dessert orders and plate them in a quick and efficient manner
* Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to departmental standards
* Proper set-up of the service line (stocking, pars, pastry items)
* Prepares products and garnishes as needed for service line
* Maintain a calm attitude when in a stressful, chaotic environment
* Ability to multitask
Candidates should have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and availability to work Saturdays is required. Part-time and full-time positions avaiable.
