The journey of HAND Hospitality began with the making of hotspot Korean gastropub, Take31, on East 31st street. Since 2011, HAND has played an active role in expanding Korean and Japanese cuisines in Midtown, New York.

The diversity within the group gives tremendous insight to varied Asian cultures, which helps create the basis of each project. It allows us to expand and share our community with others.

Hakata TonTon—serve Japanese soul food originating from Southern Japan, Hakata, Fukuoka Prefecture. Fukuoka, known as the "gateway to Asia" with its historical and geographical background— had a strong trade relationship with China and Korea. With such diversity, it left a rich food culture, Japanese at heart, with heavy influences of Korean and Chinese cuisines.

TonTon brought into play this melting pot of cultures and developed it even further to bring a unique, adventurous palette to New York City for over 13 years. We aim to be a one-of-a- kind Japanese Restaurant, challenging ourselves and continuously bringing exciting flavors to create truly memorable experiences for our guest.
