Responsibilities*
* As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, preparing ingredients this is a high volume physically demanding position
* Prepare and chop ingredients as per recipes and menu specifications
* Receive and stock deliveries using FIFO system, ensuring food product is fresh, heavy lifting is required
* Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
* Assist chefs in cooking and assembling dishes during service
* Ensure all food items are stored properly to maintain freshness
* Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, mixers, and ovens
* Changing and filtering fryer oil
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation
* Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages
