2 years EXPERIENCE
* Work with General Manager/VP of Operations to maintain a wine program that adds quality, value, and enhances the guest experience.
* Work with General Manager/VP of Operations to provide ample training and education to ensure staff wine knowledge amongst the FOH team. The team must be knowledgeable about and technically proficient with the full BTG list and wine selections while also having the ability to provide excellent service and hospitality to all guests.
* Ensure excellent maintenance, organization and cleanliness of the wine room, wine storage and service areas at all times (breaking down boxes, general area maintenance, cleanliness).
* Maintain proper glassware (wine glasses, decanters, half bottle decanters) storage/pars.
* Upload to R365 and code all beverage invoices in a timely manner and ensure inventory counts from toast to Binwise are reconciled on a daily basis.
* Ordering and maintaining the standards of the Wine Program and performing inventory counts and reconciliation.
* Providing suggestions in regards to allocations
* Work with our General Manager/VP of Operations to ensure that all POS systems, inventory systems, beverage (digital & Print) lists, and any other information related to the beverage program remain accurate and up to date and are understood by the team. Ensure that period end inventory count is completed on time and accurately.
* And be our key sommelier during service!
