The Gutter Lower East Side - Chef / Pizzaiolo

The Gutter Lower East Side is looking for a chef and skilled pizza maker. You need to be creative, be hands on, and not be afraid to get on the line. You must have a minimum of 5 years experience. We use a brick oven, and you must be great at making both Neapolitan pizzas. You need to understand the business side of a kitchen. No rookies need apply. Besides pizzas we are looking to develop our pub menu into something really great.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Make top quality pizzas and other food

* NYC Food Handler Certification required

* Oversee Kitchen Operations

* Schedule and Hire Kitchen Staff

* Inventory and Ordering

* Create Specials and New Menu Items

* Work with the GM and Upper Management to establish and follow a budget and SOPs

* Monitor and help maintain equipment

* Bilingual - English / Spanish a plus
