1 year EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a Reservationist to join our 3 star NYT restaurant in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The Reservationist is primarily responsible for taking reservations and communicating guest inquiries accurately and in a timely fashion. The Reservationist also follows up with every reservation to confirm every detail and guest need so that the restaurant delivers upon them accurately. Most communication will be handled over the phone and email
*Responsibilities:*
• Answer incoming calls in a timely manner
• Take reservation notes following Empellón's standards
• Notes any dietary restriction and special request on each reservation and code guests accordingly
• Must be familiar with multiple dining periods and specific offerings and services to provide the most
accurate information
• Handles guest inquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently within the company policy and
also advise management
• Process forms, requests and reports
• Communicates effectively with the Management regarding private event inquiries and VIP clientele
• Provide the highest level of customer service at all times
• Able to take detailed messages and liase between restaurant management team to follow up with inquiries
• Responds professionally to various requests and promotes positive guest and employee relations

*Qualifications:*
• One year experience in the area of Reservations
• Proficient level of computer skills: Resy, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe
• Recognizes and handles confidential information with a high degree of sensitivity
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Must have the ability to acknowledge, solve problems and coordinate decision in an expedited and efficient manner.
• Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to multi task on multiple devices (phone, iPad, desktop, etc)
• Great time management, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changes with ease
• Good working knowledge of office equipment (i.e. PC, fax, printer)
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules, per the needs of the restaurant
• Strong organizational skill
*Physical Requirements:*
* Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
* Must be able to work on your feet for at least 10 hours
* Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others
* Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift of up to 50 pounds on occasion and 35 pounds regularly
* Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
