*Hiring Hosts for Busy Midtown Restaurant Group - Full or Part-time*

Dutch Fred's is a cocktail bar and restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. It specializes in pre-theater dining, craft cocktails, weekend brunch, and late-night bites. Dutch Freds features a cozy bar atmosphere and art-deco design with a nod to 1910's style. Dutch Freds is part of the Pmac's Hospitality Group of bars and restaurants. and one of the most popular destinations in the Times Square & Hell's Kitchen neighborhoods. Dutch Fred's is open daily for dinner, drinks, and late night, as well as for lunch on Tuesdays through Fridays and brunch on weekends.

Dutch Freds is seeking a full or part-time host. Must have flexible availability and be able to work late nights and weekends; including holidays. Dutch Fred's is a fast-paced, high-volume establishment with a late-night kitchen and weekend brunch. *Applicants must be 21+.*

*Duties:*

With a warm smile and engaged hospitality, a Host sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience with every guest that comes through our door. A host will engage in friendly conversation when seating guests and introducing the server. A Host manages the restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations and always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. Finally, a Host ensures various guest touch points are regularly cleaned and sanitized.

*Qualifications:*

- Previous experience as a host in a restaurant or catering setting preferred

- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling

- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism

- Ability to stand for long periods of time
