*Job Summary:*

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes that capture the authentic essence of Filipino cuisine while maintaining consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Assist in food prep, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and making sauces or other essential components.

Monitor food stock and communicate inventory needs to the kitchen supervisor or manager.

*

Ensure proper storage of food items and assist in maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Work collaboratively with other team members, including chefs and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient service.

Follow all health department standards and restaurant-specific procedures, including food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.

Assist with kitchen setup and breakdown, including cleaning duties as assigned.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Experience with Filipino cuisine is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn!

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role (experience in Filipino cuisine is a plus but not required).

Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and kitchen equipment.

Effective communication skills and the ability to follow directions.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
