Our fine dining Greek restaurant in Midtown Manhattan combines elegance, authentic Greek flavors, and world-class hospitality. We are dedicated to offering our guests an unforgettable dining experience marked by warmth and sophistication.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will set the tone for a welcoming dining experience by managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring efficient seating. As Host, you will play a key role in creating a warm and elegant atmosphere, helping to establish meaningful connections with guests and setting the stage for exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables, ensuring each guest feels welcome and valued.

• Manage and update reservations using our reservation system, adjusting as needed to accommodate walk-ins and special requests.

• Communicate seating arrangements effectively with the Maitre D’, servers, and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.

• Handle guest inquiries, calls, and emails in a professional and courteous manner, providing information on reservations, menu offerings, and restaurant policies.

• Assist with special requests, including birthday celebrations, group seating arrangements, and dietary accommodations.

• Monitor dining room seating capacity and wait times, informing guests of any delays with courtesy and professionalism.

• Ensure the host station and entryway are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant environment is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

• Experience with reservation platforms such as OpenTable, Resy, or similar systems is a plus.

• Ability to remain composed and organized during peak service hours.

• Professional appearance and demeanor, with a passion for hospitality and guest service.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
