*Llama Inn* is a Modern Peruvian Restaurant located in Williamsburg Brooklyn. We combine traditional Peruvian flavors and techniques and reinvigorate the style within our New York environment. New York Times 2 Star Review, 4x Michelin Bib Gourmand, NYMag 4 stars. Our top of the rank bar program infuses the flavors of Peru into culinary cocktails with a deep focus on Latin American spirits. While our food program lies somewhere between classic Peruvian and updated and re-imagined Latin cuisine. We are hip and fun restaurant that day by day tries to push the bar just a little bit higher to what it means to be a Brooklyn Restaurant.
We are now looking to add another team member to help build our team and the restaurant to new heights. with a service-oriented Assistant General Manager to join our team in Brooklyn.
*Day to Day:*
* Preparing for service and trouble shooting any day of concerns
* Evaluating labor for the day as it relates to the book
* Maximizing the book and having clear points of actions for the host for the day
* Supporting GM in financial, service, and staff related projects as assigned
* Creating an educational pre-shift to encourage growth and sales
* Work the floor, shmoos guests, & trouble shoot complaints
* Close the shift: assure all daily tasks for staff are complete, check the sales and run a daily report, evaluate the needs for the following day.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in full-service restaurant management as either a service manager, AGM, or formal dining restaurant manager
* High volume experience of 200-300 covers per night preferred
* Proven leadership ability and track record, especially as it pertains to managing hourly employees
* Mid to strong cost analysis skills as it relates to labor, COGS, CGS, & Comps; with the eagerness to learn more.
* Experience with scheduling
* Latin restaurant experience is a plus
* Knowledge and experience with our various systems is preferred (Toast, Resy, Hotschedules)
* Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate responsibilities
* A keen sense of ownership, attention to detail and follow through
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $85,000.00)
