We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at our casual dining ramen restaurant. As a Ramen Cook/Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality, authentic ramen dishes and other menu items in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared to the highest standards and served promptly to customers.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook ramen dishes and other menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of the kitchen line.
* Ensure the proper storage of food and ingredients, adhering to safety and freshness guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth service.
* Monitor inventory and inform the kitchen manager of any stock shortages or equipment needs.
* Keep track of cooking times and presentation standards to ensure quality control.
* Assist with prepping ingredients and cleaning tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary setting, preferably in ramen or Asian cuisine.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen sanitation.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
