*Gjelina Restaurant in Noho on Bond St. is seeking an experienced Server to join our dynamic team!*

*Position Summary:*

As a server at Gjelina NYC, you are a key part of delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be the main point of contact for guests, providing high-quality service with a fine dining approach and extensive food and beverage knowledge. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment are essential.

*Essential Duties:

* Greet guests, take orders, and ensure efficient service.

* Maintain knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including allergens and pairings.

* Handle guest interactions with professionalism and grace.

* Keep server stations organized and assist with opening and closing duties.

* Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

* Attend training and stay up-to-date with menu changes.

*Qualifications:

*

* Applicants should have 2 years of service experience in a high volume/upscale environment

* Have worked with a progressive wine program and passionate about small producers

* Depth of knowledge in classic and craft cocktails

* Understands the difference between being a leader vs an order taker

* Enjoys education and sharing.

* Ability to remain calm under pressure.

* Flexibility with work schedules, including nights and weekends.

**Must have open availability for Saturday, Sunday and Monday*

Physical Demands:*

* Ability to stand, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

* Must work in varying environmental conditions (cold, heat, wet surfaces).
