*The Opportunity*

The host position is one of the first impressions of the restaurant to the guest and is a very important part of the overall experience. They are responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests, work seamlessly as a team with the rest of the FOH staff to ensure clear communication and impeccable service, all while upholding One White Street's culture.

*What You’ll Be Doing*

* Greet incoming and departing guests warmly

* Seating guests throughout service

* Assistance with resetting tables

* Participating in other parts of service when and where needed

* Provide a friendly and caring experience for every guest that comes into the restaurant, upholding the restaurant’s hospitality standards.

* Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations at all times, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.

* Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar area, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.

*Requirements:*

* 1+ years of applicable experience

* Fluent in both written and spoken English

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time

* Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule per the needs of the business
