We are seeking an experienced *Executive Kitchen Manager* to oversee kitchen operations for our two NYC-based restaurants, *Cafe Nunez* and *Buenavista* , with plans to expand our portfolio. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring recipe consistency, training staff, and managing payroll across multiple locations.
*Key Responsibilities:*

*Recipe Control & Quality Assurance:* Standardize recipes, maintain consistency in taste and presentation, and enforce portion control.

*Staff Training & Development:* Train kitchen staff on techniques, food safety, and efficiency to maintain high standards.
*
*Payroll & Scheduling Management:* Oversee kitchen staff schedules, manage payroll, and ensure labor costs remain within budget.
*
*Inventory & Cost Control:* Work with suppliers, manage food costs, and reduce waste to optimize kitchen profitability.
*
*Compliance & Safety:* Ensure all kitchens adhere to health and safety regulations.
*
*Expansion & Growth:* Play a key role in establishing kitchen operations for new restaurant acquisitions.
*
*Collaboration with Management:* Work closely with ownership and leadership to align kitchen operations with business goals and expansion strategies.
*Requirements:*

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, or Culinary Operations Manager.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of food cost control, labor management, and health code regulations.

Ability to train and mentor kitchen teams for efficiency and consistency.

Experience with restaurant payroll and scheduling systems.

Ability to adapt to a growing restaurant group and support multi-location operations.
