The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club is looking for a super-sharp Front Desk Host.

We’re on the hunt for an organized, extroverted “people person” who will operate the control center of the club to ensure our guests have a fun and smooth experience from start to finish.

This position is best suited for someone who is self-motivated with stellar communication skills and the ability to calmly multitask.

On any given day, you’ll be:

* Warmly welcoming guests the minute they step into our tropical paradise

* Clearly explaining the wait-list process of getting on to a shuffleboard court

* Staying on top of buzzers, timers and ticket numbers for (occasionally over-eager) guests waiting to play

* Keeping an eye on the floor to ensure the all of the courts are full (or empty!) when they need to be

* Communicating with servers via pagers

* Checking board games in and out of our library

* Starting tabs and closing transactions once guests have finished playing

* Keeping the whole vibe friendly and fun

* Answering very random questions

* Opening & closing duties

Ideally, you will have:

* Experience working in a high-energy/high-volume spot

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* An extroverted personality and a love of both weird and normal humans

* Proficiency with POS systems (ideally, Toast)

* Full and Part time (with weekend) availability

* The ability to creatively & quickly problem solve, collaborate with a team and stay calm under pressure
