The Kuma Hospitality Group is looking for *Bartender* for Restaurant L’abeille and soon to open l'abeille à côté.
l'abeille is a 54 seat Michelin starred French “Bistronomy” Restaurant in the heart of lower Manhattan in Tribeca headed by Chef Mitsunobu Nagae, who has extensive experiences in haute cuisine at multiple Michelin-Starred restaurants in Tokyo (L'Osier, Chateau Restaurant Joel Robuchon), Paris (Ledoyen), and New York (L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Shun). His vision for the Restaurant is to provide the kind of food one would be served at great restaurants in France - highest quality food served in a friendly, non-formal environment is the core concept of our dining experience.
As a valuable addition to our team, you must ensure that guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidates will be passionate and have a commanding knowledge about food, wine, and service in general. These individuals will be the key points of contact for guests throughout their dining experience. They must have the ability to work well with the team and provide the utmost level of hospitality to our guests.

-Perform all tasks required to open the bar and set up for service, preparing garnishes and syrups
-Prepare beverages for guests at the bar and in the dining room
-Serve food to guests at the bar and in the dining room, as needed
-Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, create memorable guest experiences
-Guide guests through any questions and make intentional recommendations
-Anticipate guests' needs and create strong guest relationships; recognize regulars and industry leaders
-Maintain current knowledge of food and beverage menus
-Assist in create seasonal cocktail lists
-Assist with monthly liquor inventory
-Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
-Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality
-Ability to work cleanly and maintain attention to detail
-Alcohol Service Compliance
-Proof of Covid vaccination and booster
-Ability to work an open schedule including days, nights, weekends & holidays
-Must be organized, detail oriented, reliable, punctual and self- motivated
-Desire to continuously learn, grow and strive to create a positive and fulfilling atmosphere
-Two years NYC Experience in fine dining or comparable restaurant experience required
-Craft Cocktail, fine wine and craft beer experience a must
-Existing knowledge of food, wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, coffee, and tea
-Strong knowledge/understanding of dietary allergies
-Point of Sale experience
