The Red Rooster Harlem is searching Head Steward to oversee and manage the overnight cleaning crew, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate must have experience working in large commercial kitchens with high volume.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the overnight cleaning crew

- Ensure all areas of the restaurant are cleaned and maintained to company standards

- Train and mentor cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good condition

- Communicate effectively with management regarding crew performance and any concerns

- Assist with cleaning tasks as needed, demonstrating proper techniques to staff

-  Maintain a safe and organized work environment

*Requirements:

* - Previous experience in a supervisory role in a high volume restaurant

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 50 Lbs

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Detail oriented with a  commitment to quality work

- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed

- Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the shift

- Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment and materials

*Compensation:*

- Hourly with potential for overtime
