Core functions:

Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality traditional espresso beverages for our guests.

Job duties but not limited to:

* Take beverage orders from guests and servers

* Prepare and serve coffee, cortado, americano, latte and cappuccino based on standard recipes

* Recommends coffee flavor profiles to customers

* Posses full knowledge in local roasters and tea offerings that we feature

* Participate in a culture of innovation by contributing ideas for house and seasonal coffee and tea beverages

* Learns the names and personally recognize our regular guests

* Takes ownership the coffee bar and maintains cleanliness in all areas including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas

* Taking care of our guests using our methods for delivering contagious hospitality

The perfect candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

* Must have exceptional grooming habits

* Comfortable working early morning hours a must

* One year of past Barista experience a plus

* Have working knowledge of traditional espresso beverages

* Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point of sales system

* Basic knowledge of 2-group espresso machine and commercial coffee maker

* Works quickly and efficiently

* Works well both independently and as a team member

* Responsible and reliable

* Must have exceptional grooming habits

* Outgoing friendly personality

* Ability to work well under pressure

* Ability and willingness to exceed guest expectations

* Excellent multi-tasking and attention to detail

* Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

* Able to lift 50 lbs
