Leroy's is a neighborhood cocktail bar & gastropub, the bar is the focal point of the restaurant and Leroys is excited to serve some of the best cocktails in Greenpoint. Leroy's is cooking New American Cuisine, inspired by classic New York staples and touches from the American South. The cocktail program is ever expanding and Leroys is searching for candidates with a strong desire to grow in their career and help push Leroy's to the next level.

Ideal candidates have strong work ethic, varied experience and a passion to deliver great products with exceptional service.

About the job

- Have at least 3 years bartending experience

- Have a love and passion for the hospitality industry.

- Positive, friendly attitude is a must.

- Provide hospitable and customized service to each of our guests

- Perform opening and closing duties

- Team player

- Must be available to work weekends, weekdays and holidays

- Must have a positive attitude and work well in fast paced environments

- Basic knowledge of spirits, wine and beer

-Ability to make or recomend bespoke cocktails

- Able to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs

- Knowledgeable about spirits and comfortable preparing a cocktail and explaining its ingredients

- Skilled in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
