LE VEAU D'OR, the newly re-opened French Bistro from chefs Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr, is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate displays an excitement for food and hospitality. As a critical member of the culinary team, a successful *pastry cook* will prioritize positivity, passion, and flexibility. You will also have previous experience working in a collaborative and food forward environment.

What you can expect:

- Produce consistent, quality seasonal dishes in a fast-paced environment.

- Positive influence to the team and work well under pressure while also providing a welcoming work environment that increases staff morale.

- Support the Pastry Chef as needed.

- Support Executive Chef as needed.

-Maintain a clean and orderly pastry kitchen while adhering to NY health and safety standards

Ideal Candidate

-Working knowledge and passion for classic French pastry techniques

-Have experience or a desire to learn more about pastry, including plating, production, and  events.

-Prepare and execute key components of seasonal dishes while ensuring quality and accuracy

-Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.

-Must be able to work days / nights Tuesday - Saturday.

-Ability to manage time for both production and plating in service
