The Lambs Club is seeking an enthusiastic Captain with a passion for the industry. The ideal candidate is studied, precise, and possesses a desire to evolve. Must be up to date on industry trends, and has knowledge and understanding of high end New York City restaurants.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Michelin restaurants.
* In depth knowledge of food, spirits, cocktails, and wines.
* Must have full availability (Nights, weekends, holidays).
* A strong work ethic is a must.
* Team player mentality – must be able to work well with others.
* Professional demeanor, positive attitude, polished appearance with the ability to exceed our guests' expectations.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to multitask.
* Ability to understand and speak about menu items.
* Maintain composure during busy times.
* Must have a complete understanding of fine dining service.
* Ability to suggest menu items and upsell.
* Must be able to problem solve and be open to constructive criticism.
* Punctuality is a must.
* Candidates with sommelier certification a bonus.
