Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring a full-time Pastry Cook to join our team at Rowland's Bar and Grill in New York, New York. As a Pastry Cook, you will prepare the bakery & pastry products at Rowland's Bar and Grill and ensure all items are served in a timely manner to the highest freshness and quality.

* Follow recipes portion sizes and to a quality standards

* Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked, and utilize kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as knives, slicers, pots, steamers, and ovens

* Ensures proper baking temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly

* Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines

* 1 year experience as a pastry cook or similar role required

* Basic math skills with the ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements

* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail

* Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions

* Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

* Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift while also walking, bending, reaching, and performing other repetitive motions
